The School Development Plan is our path to success and the achievement of our school vision for St. Jude’s children and their families. It is our ambition to provide an exceptional space of learning within our community that will raise aspirations and enable all learners to fulfil their potential.
The areas we are working to improve are chosen based on evidence from self-evaluation. This means that our self-evaluation ties directly into our plans for improvement.
Governors monitor the School Development Plan each term via the Headteacher’s report, visits to the school and meetings with school leaders.
To embed a whole-school culture od adaptive teaching that ensures all children, including key groups, are supported and challenged through responsive, inclusive and evidence-informed practices.
To embed the Zones of Regulation framework across the school to support children in developing emotional awareness, self-regulation strategies and resilience, fostering a calm, inclusive learning environment.
To embed consistent, evidence-based writing strategies across the curriculum that improve the quality, confidence, progress and attainment of all pupils in writing.
To foster a school culture rooted in Christian values where justice and responsibility are actively taught, modelled and lived out, empowering children to act with fairness, compassion and integrity in their relationships, learning and wider community.
